Thomas Lawrence Ward “Frijoles”, 58, of Texas, passed away on August 10th, 2024.
Born on January 23, 1966, to Frank and Doris Ward. Thomas was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His generous spirit and caring heart were evident to all who knew him; he was known for putting others before himself, a personality bigger than life and his willingness to lend a helping hand.
Thomas lived life to the fullest, finding joy in simple pleasures such as listening to music, dancing, singing, bowling, vacationing and spending time with loved ones. His enthusiasm for life extended to his hobbies, including video games and visits to amusement parks. Often seen with a cold drink in his hand, Thomas was a beacon of light and joy in the lives of those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lisa Martinez- Ward; his sister, Sherry Ward, His brother Rick (Esther) Dixon; his daughters; Daysha Ward, Kortni Ward, Nicole (Justin) Wiens, his sons Zach (Rachel) Ward and Josh (Damaris) Martinez, his Bonus Mom - Imogene Ward, In-laws: Mr. & Mrs. Albert Rodriguez, Mr. & Mrs. Lupe Martinez and His beloved pet “Pebbles”.
Thomas also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Jeremiah, Eva, Jordan, Emmett, Zayden, Galilee, Richard, Charlotte, and his most adored Nolan, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, sisters – in – law, brothers- in -law and many friends.
Thomas worked as a dedicated Branch Manager for Terminix Pest Control for 16 years, where he inspired both his colleagues and the community with his remarkable work ethic and commitment.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Doris Ward.
While Thomas will be deeply missed, his legacy as the life of the party and a source of love and inspiration endures. He is now at peace, free of pain, and his memory will forever brighten our lives, and the world is a less colorful place without him.
