Thomas Orazio Sarti's Obituary
Thomas Orazio Sarti of Porter, Texas, was called home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He passed away peacefully at the age of 83, surrounded by his family, who loved him beyond measure.
Tommy was born in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, January 19, 1943, to Orazio and Doris Sarti. He proudly served in the United States Navy for six years.
Tommy's favorite pastime was fishing and hunting. If he wasn't enjoying the outdoors, he could usually be found watching football—especially his beloved Cowboys and Longhorns—or college baseball. He will be remembered for his love of singing and making up his own songs. In his younger years, he especially enjoyed spending time with his family at the lake making memories.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pam Sarti; his daughters, Linde Bonn and husband Bill, Lillian Garcia and husband Ab, and Samantha Vasquez and husband Andy; his brother, Tony Sarti and wife Debbie; his cherished grandchildren, Andrew, Kourtney, Casey V., Dante, Peyton, Kyle, Casey S., Jackson, Lane, Parker, Tanner, Carter, and Brody; along with several nieces and nephews.
Tommy is reunited in Heaven with his daughters, Lisa Metcalf and Lorrie Ellis; his son, J.J. Lopez; his granddaughters, Megan Metcalf and Macy Gillum; his parents, Orazio and Doris Sarti; and his sisters, Tootsie, Sandra, and Gevana. Those who knew Tommy will forever remember him for his firm yet generous heart, infectious humor, and strong work ethic. His love, guidance, and joyful spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
