Theresa started her married life in Deer Park Texas, and this is where she started her family. She moved many times throughout her life due to Jerry’s work and she would pack up her house and children and away they went. They would always return to their family roots. She made trips with Jerry to London, Scotland, Spain, as well as many other places together.
Once back in the Pasadena area in the year 1978 she started working for Stop N Go as a manager and retired from Valero Corporation as an assistant manager. She was robbed multiple times in her life and one of the times the robber had a gun pointed at her head and said he wanted all her money, she gave him everything in the cash register, she turned around and the robber asked her where she was going and she told him to get the money out of the other register you said you wanted it all, he said oh ok, and off he went.
Theresa was an amazing cook, she loved cooking, and she passed on many recipes which are still used to this day by many members of her family, and those memories of her teaching us all to cook are a valuable memory.
After Theresa’s retirement she moved in with each of her children over the years and finally settled in Woodville Texas last year in October, which she loved being back in Texas and was able to see the majority of her family still here in Texas.
Theresa passed away in Kingwood hospital on October 15, 2023, with loving family by her side and those not there were all there in spirit and she knew that and loved each and every member of her family. Theresa will be greatly missed by all.
