Teresa Anne Gibbs' Obituary
Teresa Anne Gibbs, 75, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on June 15, 2026.
An open viewing will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
A funeral service will follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home. Father Jimmy Grace of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will officiate. Burial will immediately follow from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by South Park Funeral Home.
Teresa was born in Houston, Texas, on November 27, 1950. She graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas, and later completed college coursework at San Jacinto Junior College.
Teresa married James Louis Gibbs on December 5, 2003, and they shared 22 wonderful years of marriage.
Throughout her career, Teresa worked for numerous medical offices and retail organizations. She was active in her church community and enjoyed cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and traveling. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband, Jim Gibbs; her children, April Kinchen, Alicia Garza, and Susan Gibbs; her son-in-law, Jeff Garza, her grandchildren, Renee and Riley Garza; her brother, Mike Patrick; her sister, Patricia Casey; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan; her father, Albert; and her brother, Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
