Tarry Ann Kaleh's Obituary
Tarry Ann Beach Kaleh, 86, of Pearland, Texas was born January 14, 1936 and passed away the morning of July 28, 2022 with her husband, Jack, by her bedside. Tarry graduated from Milby High School in 1953, a proud member of the Drum and Bugle Corps. She became a licensed radiology technician at Hermann Hospital. She met her husband Jack on a blind date and within a year, they married on December 13, 1958. Tarry’s favorites were her family, her friends, books, genealogy, and gambling, not necessarily in that order. The gambling bug bit her after winning the $20,000.00 jackpot in a Las Vegas slot tournament years ago. She and Jack traveled throughout the United States as well as Europe. New Orleans and Las Vegas were two of her favorite destinations and family joined her on numerous occasions. Tarry and Jack celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Brennan’s in New Orleans. Unfortunately, Tarry suffered a major stroke in 2014. She was left wheelchair bound with limited speech capabilities. For 8 years, she managed her disabilities quite independently with style and grace. The family would like to especially thank Frederica Washington for her special care of Tarry and Jack. Left to mourn her loss are her husband of 63 years, Jack, her daughter Desiree (John) Hatcher, her son John (LeeAnn) Kaleh, her daughter Kandy (Mark) Michna, her five grandchildren Brian (Stacey) Kaleh, John Michael Hatcher, Jamie (Jason) Elrod, Jaclyn (Ethan) Escalante, Jake Schneider and three great-granddaughters Summer Kaleh, Kyleigh Elrod and Siena Kaleh.
