Sylvia Gail Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Sylvia Williams, 89, of Friendswood, Texas passed away on July 11, 2022. She was born on November 28, 1932 to Ben and Verna Boutwell in Baird, Texas.
She met and later married her husband of 63 years, Gene Williams, in Fort Worth, Texas. The family moved to Houston in 1960.
While her family was her first career, her second career later in life was at Gayle’s, a specialty women's clothing boutique.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and grandson, Michael Morris.
She is survived by children; Hal Williams and husband Gary Norton, Ken Williams, and Gina Morris and husband Carl, grandchildren, Jereme Morris and Courtney Collier, and great grandchildren; Stephen, Emily, and Zachary Morris.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, 2217 Theta Street, Houston, Texas 77034.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at South Park Funeral Chapel, 1310 N. Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581 on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 10:00 A. M. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service, beginning at 9:00 A.M.
