Mrs. Syble "Nanny" Pauline Cockrell Wilcox's Obituary
Syble Pauline Cockrell Wilcox, 95, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, in Centerville, Texas. Syble was born October 22, 1922 in Groveton, Texas to Tommie and Audie Cockrell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Wilcox, Sr.; father, Tommie Cockrell; mother, Audie Cockrell; sister, Sylvia Moore; brother, Joe Cockrell; son-in-law, Perry May; and great granddaughter, Leslie Belle Lawson. Syble is survived by her children: Beverly Gray (Les); Thomas E. (Bubba) Wilcox (Gina); Ruthie Linson (Larry); Tommie May and Mitch Evans and family. She has 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome to join the family at 1-2 p.m., August 2, 2018 for visitation and services at 2 p.m. at South Park Cemetery chapel with Mike Lowery officiating. Graveside services following.
