Mrs. Syble S. Brown's Obituary
Syble Saxon Brown, whose warm bright smile captivated a room, died Sunday, after a long battle with cancer. She was 76.
She died peacefully at home on Sunday, surrounded by family. Henry Brown, her beloved husband of 59 years protected her every step of the way.
Syble grew up in Metter, Georgia. As a newlywed, she and "Junior" (Henry) ventured to Houston looking for prosperity. She was "Mama" to two sons, Jimmy and Donnie, who adored her. She was the spunky "Granny" to five grandchildren: Jessica, Jimmy, Mary Syble, Doralou, and Donnie. She is survived by three brothers, Clark, Oliff, and Billy.
Syble devoted her life ensuring happiness of her loved ones. Christmas Eve was her favorite holiday. That day and every other day, she made it her duty to give joy. Fried chicken and chocolate were her specialties. Fishing in the sun her beam.
