Susie Davis' Obituary
Susie R. Davis, 69, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011, in Houston, Texas after a fifteen year battle with leukemia. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Milby High School in 1960. Married to Ralph W. Davis for over 50 years, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a constant cheerleader to her kids and grandkids and had a special love for animals of all kinds. "Susie" worked at NASA during the space race and for local attorneys as a paralegal in her hometown of Pearland, TX. Although battling cancer herself, she was a volunteer at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is survived by her husband, and children Bret W. Davis & wife Patty Davis of Cypress, TX; Braz Davis and wife Deena Davis of Kerens, TX; her mother Mary L. Davis, brother Jimmy Joe Hardy, and five grandchildren, Grant, Cali, Taylor, Will, and Tanner Davis. The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at SouthPark Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at12:30pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St. Pearland, TX. Interment to follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
