Mrs. Sueann Louise Delehanty's Obituary
Sue passed away on December 28, 2016 after a 7 year battle with a lung disease. Sue was born February 27, 1961 and raised in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Sue was the third child of William and Madeline Hetrick. She had a passion for dance and became an accomplished ballerina in the region. After graduating high school, Sue attended the University of Wisconsin / Stevens Point and later went on to receive a certification from the Sheffield School of Interior Design. With a unique talent and strong determination Sue developed her company Functional Designs, completing projects nationally and internationally.
Sueann was a strong Christian woman that married Peter Delehanty in April of 1983. She is survived by her husband, her daughter Erin Morrow age 31 and son Robert Delehanty age 29. Sue’s greatest love was her family. She made homes for the family in Boston, Seattle, Columbus and Hartford prior to moving to the Woodlands in 2010. Sue made all feel welcome and the house was often the gathering place for family and friends. At the time of her passing, she was blessed with two grandsons, Ian Morrow age 10 and Callan Morrow age 8.
In the Houston area, Sue was a member of Woodlands Church and active in the Pregnancy Assistance Center North. A memorial celebration service will be held for Sueann Delehanty on her birthday to celebrate her life on February 27 at the Woodlands Church Chapel at 10 am.
