Steven Michael Kasmiersky's Obituary
Steven Michael Kasmiersky, age 68, passed away in Pasadena, Texas on Sunday, July 25, 2021. Born November 16, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Leonard and Dorothy "Dottie" Kasmiersky (née Kulhanek), he grew up in the south of Houston and graduated from Milby High School. On October 20, 1984, he married Judith Senior at St Pius V Catholic Church.
An expert lead guitarist, he played in multiple country and rock'n'roll bands in the Pasadena and Houston area, and retired in 2008 after working over twenty years as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. His other hobbies included fishing, surfing, barbecuing, gardening, and baking bread, to name a few. Steven was also a man of profound faith who frequently prayed for his loved ones and served as a spiritual leader for those who knew him.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Judith, daughter and husband Megan and Jordan Parker, and their son Alex; stepson Jason Harrison, his children Brittany and Christian, and their children Delilah, Alaina, Elijah, Ian and Lucas; stepson Adam Harrison and sons Jacob and Josh; as well as sister Theresa "Terri" Parker, her sons Huling "Houston" V, and Conrad, and her grandson Huling VI "Six", and Step-son Gary “Michael“ Parker Jr; sister Kathleen Carpenter and her son Madison "Matt"; brother and wife Thomas "Tom" and Belinda Kasmiersky, and their children Kyle and Tyler; sister and husband Dianne and Doug Randall, and their children Annie and Dalton; and numerous dear cousins.
He will be joining in Heaven his parents, Leonard and Dottie Kasmiersky; his brothers-in-law Mike Carpenter, Gary Parker Sr., Charles "Chuck" Senior, and Chester "Chet" Senior; great-granddaughter Renezamay; and close friends Gary Oppegard and Ralph Malek.
Steve was an organ donor, and his selfless gift will restore vision to someone in need. In lieu of flowers, the Kasmiersky family asks you to consider honoring Steve's memory by becoming an organ donor, or by making a contribution to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
