Mr. Stephen Kelly Steiner's Obituary
Steve passed away Oct. 4, 2012 at Clear Lake Hospital after a lengthy illness. Steve was born in Dallas, Texas to Frank B. Steiner and Nelda J. Duck. He graduated from Bryan Adams H.S. He came to Houston in the 70's and went to work for Joske's. In 1976 he met and married Shelley Aldmon. In 1978 they were blessed with a daughter Amber Leigh Steiner. After Joske's closed he went to work for Dr. Pepper/Snapple where he worked until his retirement due to health reasons.
He was a member of Houston First Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the SPJST lodge #88. He loved all sports, especially tennis and golf. Steve never met a stranger and had a smile and a story for everyone. He was an avid animal lover, always wanting to bring home one more. He is predeceased by his parents Frank B. Steiner and Nelda D. Walker and brother-in-law- Keith E. Aldmon. Steve is survived by his loving wife Shelley of 36 years and his beloved daughter Amber Steiner who was his heart.
He is survived by cousin Jocele Taing from Dallas as well as brother-in-law Doug Aldmon and sister-in-law Donna Aldmon, brother-in-law Mike Aldmon and sister-in-law Dana Aldmon ,mother-in-law Mary Kaye Aldmon and various nieces and nephews - Tola, Josie, Sacsy and Sadie as well as his granddog Ellie.
Steve will be tremendously missed and is leaving a huge space in our lives and in our hearts.
We love you Honey and will miss you so much. We are glad you are now pain free and in a much better place and know we will meet again.
