Stephen Leigh Palmer's Obituary
Stephen Leigh Palmer, 55, of Pasadena, Texas transcended into his next life on September 27, 2023.
Stephen was born in Houston, Texas on August 16, 1968. He studied Information Technology Management at American Military University. Join the Army at the ripe young age of 39, was first stationed at Fort Braggs 82nd Airborne division. He spent his deployment in Joint Base Balad in Iraq. In 2011 he transferred to Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington. He worked as a Signal Support System Specialist.
He has a son from his first wife Yvette Teague Palmer.
Stephen married Diana (Dee Dee) on 10.10.10. (As he would say the perfect date for a geek)
He had hobbies such as sailing, building remote control airplanes, adventure games (such as D&D), dove hunting, and cooking (he loved taking pictures of the food he cooked)
He enjoyed contributing to many charities such as The Wounded Warrior Project, Archangels of Texas, and Big Cat Rescue. (He never met a cat he did not like)
Stephen is survived by his wife Dee Dee Palmer, His son Stephen (Trace) Palmer and wife Ares. He also had 4 stepchildren Jeff (Krista), Catherine (Cory), Sean (Kelly), and Heather (Nathan) and 14 grandchildren. His brothers Jeff and Sean Palmer. Also, his birth mother Linda Perez and stepsister Mary Perez, and many friends and Army buddies.
Stephen was preceded in death by his first wife Yvette, father Stephen, adoptive parents Kathryn and M.I. Palmer, and stepmother Gay Nell.
