Shirley Jane McPeak's Obituary
Shirley Jane McPeak, beloved mother, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2025, at the age of 87. She is survived by her loving partner of 40 years, Thomas J. Doherty; her children, Shelly R. McPeak, Carole Y. Kota, James McPeak Jr., Karen Gasque, Brenda Laskoskie, and Tommy W. Doherty. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James McPeak Sr.; her daughter, Lori Lane; and her grandsons, Kiran C. Kota, Justin Lane, and Randal Lane.
She was born in Olcott West Virginia to Howard Edward Holstine and Juanita Thomas and had 2 siblings Carole and Bonnie. She loved Elvis, Country Music, and watching old westerns. She lived for the Holiday get togethers and cherished her time with all her many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Shirley was the glue that binded us all and a beacon of love and strength to all who knew her. Her true devotion, warmth, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Please join us in a memorial service to celebrate Shirley's life on January 20th 2025 at 1PM, 2 PM Service, followed by a brief Graveside interment at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Veterans Organization in Shirley's memory.
