Sharun Ann Houston's Obituary
Sharun Ann Houston, age 79, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, was born on December 6, 1944 and passed away on April 26, 2024.
Sharun enjoyed spending time with family, playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. You would not find her without her miniature poodle fur babies Tex and Baby Girl. She had talent and passion for painting, which she passed on to her daughter Kelly and granddaughter Tiffany.
After retiring from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office, Sharun spent her time collecting and selling collectibles and antiques. This passion led her to traveling around Texas to set up booths at antique shows and opening a store in Milano, Texas.
Sharun was predeceased by her granddaughter, Tiffany Baker; her daughter, Kelly Baker; her brother, Wayne Wheeler; her mother, Nancy Murphy; and her stepfather, Hollis Murphy Jr. She is survived by husband, Charlie Houston; son-in-law, Gary Baker; grandson, Kevin and his wife Stephanie, their children Taylor and Colton; granddaughter Lauren and her husband Roye, their children Kinsley Rae and Tilden; granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Cameron, their children Cadence, Jax, Bentley and Delilah; plus, many other family and friends whom she loved deeply.
Friends, family, and others who cared for Sharun are invited to celebrate her life by attending a graveside service at South Park Funeral Home in Pearland, TX on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at 12 pm.
