Powers, Sharon's Obituary
Sharon Powers, born in 1946, of Beeville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2026.
Known lovingly as “Shudy” by her family and friends, Sharon was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a faithful servant of God whose warmth and strength touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” and Ethel Hatcher; brothers Bobby Ray Hatcher and Douglas Hatcher, her sister Linda K Hatcher and great-granddaughter Annabelle Steele-Jones.
She leaves behind her loving children, Charlene Bolduc, Tommy Bolduc and Theresa Calderon. She is also survived by her cherished niece, Stacy L and nephew Jimmy V.
Sharon was a proud grandmother to Christopher Reed, Courtney Hayek, Morgan Brimer, Ashley Steele, Steven Martinez, Elizabeth Bolduc and Charla Calderon.
Her legacy continues through her beloved great-grandchildren Camden Reed, Jayce Matamoros, Jazlene Martinez, Laelynn Steele, Joshua Hayek, Henry Hayek, Jeffrey Meeker and Beckham Brimer.
Sharon dedicated more than 40 years of her life to the ophthalmology field, where she cared for countless patients with compassion and professionalism. Outside of work she was known for her deep love of Elvis Presley and the joy his music brought her throughout her life.
Above all, Sharon had an unwavering faith in God that guided her through every season of life. Her love, resilience, and devotion to her family will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Though our hearts mourn her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
