Mrs. Shardley Glinton Paul's Obituary
Shardley Geletta Paul (formerly) Glinton was born in South Caicos, Turks &Caicos Islands, British West Indies on August 10th 1951. The 2nd of six children to the late Oliver Nathaniel Glinton and Laurie Elizabeth Glinton (formerly) Lightbourne of the Turks and Caicos Islands. She received her primary and secondary education in South Caicos, Turks & Caicos Islands. She furthered her education at Blue Water Bible College in St Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands, where she graduated with a theology degree and an Advanced Teachers certificate. She continued her education and in 2002 she obtained a Bachelors degree in Religious Education.
Shardley was raised in a Christian home of godly parents who cared for, and nurtured their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. She received the Lord as her Savior at the age of 12 and she was not ashamed to share her testimony of how she got saved. She said at the age of 12 she was attending a week of special meetings in her home church, while her Pastor (Jim Cooper) was preaching he made reference to the following scripture, "..............who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" She said that she was convicted by this verse of scripture but being very shy she was afraid to walk up to the alter. But willing to move forward she felt someone lifted her (whom she believed was the Holy Spirit) and took her forward. The Pastor's wife showed her from the Bible how to get save and she invited the Lord into her heart as her Lord and personal Savior. She had no doubt of her salvation to the assurance that she took 1Peter 3:15 as her life memory verse, "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear. While attending Blue Water Bible College she met her loving husband Harrison Paul at Calvary Baptist Church in ST. Thomas, Virgin Islands. They were married on December 20, 1975 and from that union was born three beautiful children who all know the Lord as their savior, Heath Anderson Paul, Heidi Alison Purcel and Haques Artley Paul of Houston, Texas.
Shardley and the children moved from the Virgin Islands to Texas in 1989 and Harrison joined them after his retirement from the Police Force in the Virgin Islands.
Shardley worked as a teacher in Houston shortly after her move to Texas for a period of five years , and it was then she had the vision and opened her own school, Wee Wisdom Academy from 1995 - 2005.
She then returned to Sugar Creek Montessori School in Sugarland, Texas where she worked until the Lord called her home

The Lord called Shardley home on Sunday January 2, 2011 at 8.00 am. At that same hour Shardley and her husband always leave home for Cornerstone Baptist Church to attend choir practice, teach grades 4 & 5 of Sunday School Class and to participate in Morning worship. Instead of going to Cornerstone Baptist Church that Sunday, the Lord called her home to heaven.
Shardley's desire is for someone to come to know her Lord. Will you be that someone and join her in heaven?
She loved life, people, flowers and plants. A Celebration of Shardley's Life will be held on Saturday January 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2719 Kingsbrook Lane, Missouri City, TX 77459.
