Shana Lynn Cooper's Obituary
Shana Lynn Cooper, 41 of Humble Texas passed from this life on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
She was born on September 26, 1984, in Houston, Texas to her parents, Glenn Keith Cooper and Cynthia Ann Carrico. Shana is survived by her mother, Cynthia Carrico and her husband Robert Martinez; her father, Glenn Cooper and his wife Cheryl Cooper; her two brothers, Brandon and Johnathan and his wife Jennifer Cooper; step siblings, Katrina and Sara Martinez, Levi, J.J., Cheyenne and Wyatt Telck; and many extended family and friends that she loved dearly.
She worked at the hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina, while attending school for a medical/nursing degree. After her auto-immune diseases were identified, she returned to Houston, Texas, and started pursuing a business degree while working at Palais Royal. She graduated from Lonestar College with her business degree. She was about six months away from obtaining her second degree in micro-economics.
Shana loved God and gave her life to him at an early age. She loved her family, friends, her pet/Duke and spending as much time as she could with them. As a child, she enjoyed camping, skiing, and traveling (especially cruising). She was always planning for the next adventure - in fact, she was planning her next cruise with family.
While she had more than her share of medical issues, she confronted each one with determination to overcome with God's miraculous help. Three things will last forever - faith, hope and love - and the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
