Ms Sandra Ann Longoria's Obituary
Sandra Ann Longoria, 55, entered into eternal life on July 1, 2008. A proud Houstonian, she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Born February 6, 1953 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX she attended St. Philip Neri Elementary School and graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1971. She received a B. S. R. N. degree from Sacred Heart Dominican College in Houston. Sandra specialized in psychiatric nursing in the Houston area where she utilized her unique sense of listening, caring and lifting up those entrusted to her care. An avid believer that laughter lifts one's soul, Sandra enrolled in clown school and was known as 'Snickers' the clown. Sandra also contributed her skills to Radio Lollipop at Texas Children's Hospital where she was known as 'Sandy Beach'. Predeceased by her father Robert L. Longoria, she is survived by her mother Elizabeth, sisters Cathy Suhor and husband Dan of Houston, Mary Smith and husband Floyd of Houston, nieces and nephews Christie and husband Ryan Booth, Tony Suhor and fianc'e Lindsay Grant, Megan Suhor, and her beloved Chelsey Smith. She is also survived by a host of Godchildren and friends too numerous to count but each touched her soul. To have known Sandra was to have witnessed one of God's finest creations.
