Mr. Samuel Joseph Paris' Obituary
Samuel Joseph Paris was born on August 20, 1934 to Richard and Marjorie Cox Paris. He entered the loving arms of our Lord on December 26, 2018. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Adams Paris and children; Kay Foitik, Sam (Jr.) and Lisa Paris, Peggy and Paul Cooper, Shirley and Roy Bergman, and Liza Paris, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and sister; Patty Copeland of Glendive, Montana Samuel attended grade school at Crane, Texas, he later entered Monahans High School in Monahans, Texas and graduated from Tatum High School in Tatum, New Mexico. He attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Samuel received an Associate’s degree in management at Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas. He got his radio repair license in Lubbock, Texas and went on to working in Odessa, Texas. He worked for Trans Texas airlines in 1965 as a radio mechanic. Samuel worked in Texas International next and he retired from Continental Airlines in 1999 where he was in management. Sam was a history buff and could tell you every detail of the World Wars and was especially knowledgeable about the Civil War. He not only loved airplanes but also trains. He always had a joke and his family was his pride and joy and overall he loved his savior Jesus Christ and served him as a deacon for as long as his health allowed him.
