Samuel Owen Bunn's Obituary
Samuel Owen Bunn “Bubba”, 15 years old, of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 8th at 4:37 pm after a brave battle with a sudden illness. His family is devastated but knows that Samuel is with God. They are grateful to have had such a loving and caring young man full of life and hope.
The funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, November 14th, at Elim Church. Open Visitation will be held 5:30 pm on Monday, November 14th, at Elim Church. Memorial lantern send off will follow the service. Viewing arrangements are being handled by Southpark Funeral Home.
Samuel was born in Cy-Fair Hospital on April 23rd, 2007. He was in 10th grade at Kingwood High School and excelled in his Video Game Design class and loved playing football.
Samuel loved riding his bike and running around outside from sunup to sundown. He was an amazing, slight of hand, card magician. He loved multiplayer online gaming and chatting with other kids his own age from around the world over the internet.
Samuel is survived on his fathers side by his father Rick Bunn, his sister Isabella, his grandparents Douglas & Pamela Bunn, his aunts Jessica and Pilar, his cousin Nathan Paxton, his Great Grandparents Daniel & Beatrice Astran and Great Grandmother Patricia Bunn.
Samuel is survived on his mothers side by his mother and step-father Tara and Trevor Partington, his brother Ryder Tharling, his grandparents Cynthia & Norris Collins, Nicholas & Kathy Hughes, Charles & Lori Partington Jr, and Kim & Charlie Corby.
Samuel is also survived on his mother’s side by his aunts, uncles, and cousins Michael Corn family, the Zach & Meghan Hughes family, Amber & Jordan Latham, the Chris & Ronica Rice family, the Sarah & Robert Hunter family, the Sara & Mike Ward family, the Jessica Corby family, the Mitch & Becca Partington family, the Zach & Molly Partington family, and the Rachel & Jory Brezinski family.
Samuel Bunn is preceded in death by his great grandfather Owen Bunn and his great grandmother Elizabeth Stout.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Sepsis Alliance. The family of Samuel Bunn wishes to thank Texas Childrens Hospital, Elim Church, Southpark Funeral Home, and The Rice-Tinsley Corporation.
