Mr. Ruben Medrano's Obituary
Ruben Medrano, 57, departed from this world on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in his home.
Ruben was born on August 10, 1961 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas to Lazaro and Maria Paula Medrano.
At a young age, Ruben was brought to live in Houston, Texas where he was raised along with his siblings, Jose Alejo, Silvestre, Francisca, Josefa, Jose Angel, Maria Luisa, Gloria and Armando.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 37 years, Genoveva Medrano, their five children, Francisca, Ruby, Crystal, Rubensito, and Jesus, 8 grandchildren, Maria “Lupita”, Julissa, Briana, Isabella, Sophia, Joseph, Aiden, and Matthew and son in laws, Jesus, Ignacio, and Stephen.
Ruben’s wisdom was not confined or limited to a schoolroom, his wit, tact, and determination only added to his wealth in knowledge. He was beyond humble, an unrivaled example of generosity, a devout hardworking man and all who encountered him knew without a doubt that all he did was for his family. He was a man like no other, his uncommon, remarkable spirit consisted of being caring, loving, and he had a passion for humor. He had a charm about him that captivated anyone who he crossed paths with. He had an appreciation to not only be a part of, but witness the family come together and gather and coexist with one another. He especially had a fervent love to gather on the Medrano Ranch. All his family recognize that he was the adhesive that kept everyone together.
Words fall short to describe the depth of just how much he will be truly loved and missed.
