Roy Forrest Martin, Jr., affectionately known as 'Dude' passed away May 20, 2007 at the age of 91. A life-long resident, he was born in Pearland, Texas, on May 19, 1916, to Roy Forrest Martin, Sr. and Fannie Manor Martin; He was the grandson of Pearland pioneer family Samuel Pleasant and Elmira Munsell Martin. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Claudia Martin.
