Roseller Jumawan's Obituary
Roseller dela Torre Jumawan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born on April 15, 1946, in Bacong, Negros Oriental, Philippines, to his parents Iluminado Jumawan and Maria Socorro dela Torre Jumawan.
Roseller grew up in a loving family with his siblings, including his late brother Leycester, who is survived by his wife Irene and their three sons, Jason, LJ, and Earl. He is also survived by his devoted sister Brenda Manalo, who cared for him deeply. Brenda’s husband, Orlando, who has also passed on, and their sons Orlando Randy and Rodney, were important parts of Roseller’s extended family and life.
Roseller built a beautiful life with his wife, Edith Jumawan, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. Together, they raised one son, Ralph Jumawan, who carries on his father’s values and quiet strength. Ralph and his wife Rosdelna blessed Roseller with his treasured granddaughter, Rochelle, the joy of his later years and the apple of his eye. His love for her was profound and unwavering.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Roseller spent over 20 years employed at Church’s Chicken, where he was known for his reliability, warmth, and friendly nature. He later continued his service and commitment at Jollibee, bringing the same sense of professionalism and kindness to his work. Known for his gentle demeanor and caring spirit, Roseller touched many lives both within and outside his family.
Roseller will be remembered for his kind heart, loving nature, and the quiet yet powerful impact he made on everyone who knew him. His family deeply mourns his passing but cherishes the beautiful memories, lessons, and love he leaves behind.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered support, prayers, and love during this difficult time. They especially give thanks for the loving and caring ways Roseller showed them throughout his life.
He will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
