Mrs. Rose R. Pina's Obituary
We will miss our yellow “Rose” of Texas!
Rose Robles Pina passed peacefully at her home on September 24, 2016. Rose was a dedicated Air Force wife, married to Miguel Pina(deceased), and moved willingly and often when duty called. Together they settled in Pearland in 1969. You might have seen Rose serving tacos at Pearland High School’s cafeteria, working the polls during election days, singing in the St. Helen church choir or working the annual summer church bazaar. In her latter years she enjoyed playing bingo, line dancing and singing karaoke at the Melvin Knapp Senior Center.
She is survived by daughters Rosemary, Jean, Irma, Helene and Ann-Marie (her favorite). Her son-in-laws included Jack, Ronnie and Steve. Grandma Rose’s many grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember her strong will, independence and determination along with her potato enchiladas!
Rosary and visitation on Tuesday, September 27 at 5 pm South Park Funeral Home.
Funeral on Wednesday, September 28 at 10:00 am, St. Helen Catholic Church, Pearland, TX
