Rosa Candida G. Breimon's Obituary
Rosa Candida Gonzalez Breimon, born on May 3, 1930, in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to parents Ciro Gonzalez and Romualda Garcia Gonzalez passed away peacefully on November 5, 2024, at the age of 94.
Rosa is preceded in death by her eight siblings and is survived in death by her sons Norman Breimon Jr. and Vance “Rick” Breimon and their wives Analidia Munoz Breimon and Jennifer Breimon. Granddaughters Celeste Key, Madison Breimon, Emma Breimon, Kimberly Breimon, Amanda Hodge and Ashley Galloway. Grandsons Zachary Breimon, Vance Breimon Jr., and Nathan Acosta along with her 6 great grandchildren.
Rosa lived a long loving life with her devoted family that loved and cared for her until her final days. She was always the life of the party and loved to dance. She also enjoyed cooking and visiting with family either by phone or in their homes.
When she migrated to the United States in 1955 at the age of 25, she worked alongside her family in California and that is where she met her Husband. A short time later they moved to Houston, Texas to make their home. In 1975, early in their marriage, Rosa lost her husband but continued to raise her 2 boys to the best of her abilities to ensure their safety, health, and happiness. In turn her boys would work hard like their mother to push ahead in life. Norman and Rick always felt blessed to have their mom in their lives for so many years and will always remember her beautiful smile and being a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Mom, this is not goodbye, but a see you later until we meet again in heaven where you will embrace us with open arms. Continue to dance in paradise and occasionally look down and guide us in hard times. You will forever be the voice inside guiding us and we promise to keep pushing ourselves to be successful in anything we do, just like you taught us.
Broken Chain
We little knew the day that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
La Cadena Quebrada
No sabíamos esa mañana que
Dios iba a llamar tu nombre.
En la vida te quisimos mucho
En la muerte hacemos igual.
Nuestros corazones se rompieron al perderte.
No te fuiste sola,
