Mr. Ronald Charles Herdejurgen's Obituary
Ronald Charles Herdejurgen, of Tomball, TX passed away November 1, 2008 after battling liver cancer. Ron was born in Houston, TX on August 21, 1946 to Roy and Helen Herdejurgen. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and worked as a machinist in many Texas oil refineries. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Simon Herdejurgen and Helen Wolfe Herdejurgen and brother, Donald Herdejurgen. He is survived by son, Eric Herdejurgen (Alyiah) of Oakland, CA; daughter, Nicol Rodriguez (Matt) of Friendswood; grandchildren, Eric and Jace Herdejurgen, Audrey and Penelope Rodriguez; partner, Carolyn "Casey" McCloud; sister, Jeanne Slovcek (James); nieces and nephews, James, Paul, Kelly, Krystal, Jeremy, Jackie and Jennifer; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Ron was an untamed, free spirit that enjoyed life and brought much love and laughter to his friends and family. Ron originally from Houston, found his oasis in Tomball in 2006. Ron found joy riding his motorcycle, playing a round of golf and enjoying good food. We rejoice in his fulfilled life, yet his passing is also a source of great sorrow. The family wishes thank Carolyn McCloud of Houston, TX, for the love and care she rendered towards our father and the CCU staff at Tomball Regional Hospital. A Memorial Service, celebrating Ron's life and legacy, will be conducted at 11 a.m. on November 6, 2008 at SouthPark Funeral Home in Pearland, TX. A reception will be held at Nicol Rodriguez's home immediately following the service.
