Ronald Liang Kuan Teo
Beloved husband and father
Ronald Liang Kuan Teo peacefully passed away in his sleep Monday, August 8 after a long battle with cancer. Ronald was 65 years old.
Ronald was born June 25, 1951 in Singapore, Singapore. He was the oldest son of Guan Hui Teo and Swee Har Wong.
After working in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, Ronald made Houston, Texas his home in 1982. He celebrated his marriage to Clarita Lumabas in 1984. Together they made a home in cities across the world, such as Phoenix, Arizona, Shanghai, China, and Perth, Australia due to 38 years of dedicated work with Bechtel Corporation.
Ronald is survived by his wife Clarita Teo; daughter Casey Luksetich; son Eric Teo; son-in-law Taylor Luksetich; grandson Colin Luksetich; mother Swee Har Wong; sisters Nancy Teo, Winnie Teo, and Christine Teo; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Teo. Ronald always made family his top priority. He was often considered a brother and father figure, even to his extended family.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the South Park Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 13, 2016, also at the South Park Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Francis Macatangay officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Ronald’s memory (as Liang Kuan Teo).
