Rogacion Nieto's Obituary
Rogacion Nieto, 77 years old, of Houston, Texas beloved wife, mother and grandmother was born in Houston, Texas on November 11, 1942 and passed away to be with the Lord on January 31, 2021. Rogacion is preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and Reynaldo Garay Sr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years. They were married in March of 1962, and had 6 beautiful children: son, Sixto Nieto Jr. and wife Deborah: son, Jessie Nieto and wife Dorothy: son, Alfred Nieto and wife Irma: daughter, Renee Flores and husband, Alejandro: son, Roland Nieto, daughter, Veronica Patino and her husband Christobal; twenty- one grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. Her sister's, and brothers, Rosie Martinez, Irene Garza, Reynaldo Garay Jr., Lydia Maldonado, Linda Nichols, Esther Elizondo and Emily Roberts.
She and husband Sixto spent their early years of marriage in Dallas before settling in Houston.
Rogacion was a dedicated wife and mother. She raised her six children to be loving, strong and independent, modeling compassion coupled with drive. She encouraged them to lead lives of meaning and purpose. She was a wonderful combination of a strong women, as well as a love of beautiful things. She loved flowers, bingo, football pots, casino's and THE DALLAS COWBOYS!
