Rodolfo Navarro, 67, entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2007, after battling cancer for eighteen months.
Rudy, as he was known, was a native of Falfurrias, TX, and served in the U.S. Army before moving to Houston in 1971. He was a machinist for Reed Tool/Schlumberger for 31 years.
Rudy is preceded in death by father, Diego Navarro and a sister, Bertha Watts.
Rudy is survived by his wife of 38 years, Josefa (Josie) Navarro; daughters, Diana Astorga and Virginia Navarro; son, David Navarro and wife Ana; six grandchildren; mother, Petra Navarro; brother, Rolando Navarro of Falfurrias, TX; sister, Imelda Garza and husband Oscar of Corpus Christi, TX, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home (1310 N. Main, Pearland) with a 7:00 p.m. Reciting of the Rosary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 25th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (6723 Reed Rd. Houston). Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
