Robert Terrasas' Obituary
Robert Terrasas of Pearland, Texas, born on July 1, 1965 in Pasadena, Texas to Victor and Esther Terrasas, unexpectedly passed away on December 27, 2020.
He was predeceased by his father Victor, his sister Rosalinda, and father-in-law John Day. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Jennifer, son Matthew, daughter Megan, mother Esther Terrasas, brother Rudy Terrasas and wife Marilyn, sister Irene Courtney, brother Roland Terrasas and wife Jennifer, brother-in-law Chris Day and wife Aimee, sister-in-law Mary Day and husband Hayes Kirkland, mother-in-law Anne Day, nephews Johnavic Nichols, Ryan Terrasas, Taylor Terrasas, Trey Terrasas, Roland Terrasas Jr., John Day, Ty Day, Colton Kirkland, niece Victoria Terrasas and fiancé Joel Galindo, niece Hayden Kirkland, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Robert grew up in Pasadena, Texas and was always actively involved in sports. He excelled at football and ultimately his love of the sport guided him to a career as a teacher and football coach for 25 years. Robert loved the game and the responsibility of mentoring athletes into better players and ultimately great young men. Robert coached at numerous schools throughout the greater Houston area and was proud to be part of the Pearland High School Football 5A Division I State Championship team in 2010. He was a wonderful and loving husband and father that always put others above himself.
Robert loved his children more than anything else and there is a tremendous void with him gone. His gentle kindness and compassion will be greatly missed.
