Robert Allen Plitt's Obituary
Robert Allen Plitt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and
friend to all was born in Baltimore MD on November 14, 1923 and passed away at 99
years old on June 27, 2023. Bob was known to be frugal and had a love for
Maryland steamed crabs and crab cakes, Galveston beaches, the Lennon Sisters,
and his family.
Bob was pre-deceased by his wife Kaye, his parents, a brother and a sister.
Survivors include his sons, Jeff, Brad and wife Pam, and Brian, daughter Becky
Broussard and husband Arthur, grandchildren, Travis Broussard and husband Phil
Rodriguez, Amanda Underwood and husband Danny, Jeremy Broussard and wife
Katy, Allison Broussard, Alex Reed and husband Jon, Zach Plitt, Maryn Faris and
husband Scott, and Mickey Plitt. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and
one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held for the family, and he will be laid to rest at
Southpark Cemetery.
