Robert Lascelle's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Ernest Lascelle, Sr, 72, of Houston, entered God’s kingdom on February
13, 2024. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on August 2, 1951, to Alfred and
Beverly (Polzin) Lascelle.
He is survived by wife, Fay; daughter, Joanne (Cristian) of Bellevue, Nebraska; and son,
Robert (Tina) of Warrenton, Missouri. He was blessed to have four granddaughters and
two grandsons.
He loved sports, especially football and baseball. He would schedule his life around
when his two favorite teams were playing – the Miami Dolphins, and Houston Astros.
He once traveled to Miami, Florida just to visit the stadium where Miami Dolphins play.
He would wear his sports gear with pride regardless of how the team’s season was
unfolding.
Although Bob was not born in Texas, he took pride in saying “He got here as fast as he
could”. Even though he was not a big fan of the summer heat and humidity, he enjoyed
all things Texas. From the various cuisines to the annual rodeos, where he enjoyed
wearing his cowboy hats and boots, Bob held Texas in a special place.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Beverly; son, Robert Joseph ‘Joey’
Lascelle, and a still-born brother.
