Robert William Delehanty's Obituary
Robert W. Delehanty of The Woodlands, Texas passed away on May 11, 2023. Robert suffered from depression and PTSD. Rob was born in Lake Forest, Illinois on May 7, 1987 to Sueann and Peter Delehanty.
Robert was a loving and caring son that came home to care for his mother during her battle with lung disease. He had a passion for sports and excelled at hockey. Robert attended preparatory schools in New England where he studied the arts and sciences. He enrolled in Ohio State University.
With a creative mind and unique view of the world, Robert used his etchings and pencil drawings to share his vision of beauty and fantasy with the world. Rob filled the walls with beautiful pictures to try and make his world a more peaceful place.
Robert was a kind and gentle soul underneath a gruff exterior that would stand up against injustice or brutality wherever he saw it. Robert loved his dogs and supported the SPCA. Robert touched many lives with his kindness and humor. He will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his father, his sister Erin Ashley Morrow , his grandmother Madeline Hetrick-Petersen and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Robert will be laid to rest in a service in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
