Rita Jane Arnaud's Obituary
Born in Lafayette, La the second child born of Laurence Guidry Stutes and Ernest George Stutes on January 13, 1934. She was raised in Houston and graduated from Saint Agnes Academy in 1952. Married to Rudolphe Antoine (Toke) Arnaud in 1953. They lived in Lafayette and welcomed the births of Kay Laurence in 1954 and Jeff Anthony in 1956. In 1961 when Hurricane Carla hit, the repairs brought them to Houston working for Southwestern Bell Tel Co. Rita began working in 1967, first in payroll then later as secretary to oil firms. She loved fashion and always dressed with impeccable taste. Her other hobby was to take care of animals. Homeless cats or dogs found love and care with her! She worked so tirelessly to help them!
Survived by her children, daughter Kay Arnaud Munger and Husband Gary, and her son, Jeff Arnaud and wife Erin. Grandchildren: Jeffrey Munger and wife Meredith, Lauren Munger Majdarae and husband Ali, and Allison Kay Arnaud.
Great grandchildren: Aryana Kay Majdarae, Aiden Matthew Majdarae, Jeffrey Munger Jr, and Jackson Aaron Munger
Also survived by Brother William Richard Stutes, wife Cecile and their children John Vincent Stutes, Nicole Stutes Anderson and husband Chris and their children.
