Mr. Ricky E. West's Obituary
Ricky Eugene West of Pearland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 55. The son of Jimmie and Georgia West was born on January 9, 1961 in Zwolle, Louisiana. He graduated from Hornbeck High School and he earned his BA from Northwestern State University. He is survived by his parents, his sisters Gienell Doyle and husband Kenny, Barbara Despino, and brothers Jimmie Dale West and Bennie Gale West. His children Adrean Laurents and husband Shane, Jacob West and Hannah West, and grandchildren James Laurents, Cameron Laurents, Sherry West and Chastity West. He is also survived by his husband Douglas Bowerman. Rick was an avid Houston Texans fan and, also enjoyed in his spare time gardening and working around the house. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. The family will receive friends Monday, August 29, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Southpark Funeral home 1310 North Main St. Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 30, 20106 at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church 6221 Main St. Houston, Texas 77581. Burial at Southpark Cemetery.
