Mr. Richard Dale Herrington's Obituary
Richard Dale Herrington father to the lost, to
the broken has passed. His name will never
be forgotten. His energy lives through his
family, even through death, he tells his
family to stick together, to stay strong. He
told his son all the time “don’t be sad when
I go. I’ll be ok and not in pain. Have a party
celebrate my life.” As hard as that is to
swallow and not miss one of the most giving
souls on this earth, that’s what will be done.
As his voice fades and his image seems to
blur the mark he stamped on this earth will
never disappear. A master electrician with a
high school diploma, a modern day
Michelangelo with construction, counselor
to all that would listen, joker, and enjoyed
the company of others because he knew
they were broken and lost. He doubted
himself, but He loved to find new old things and
collected anything that was unique. And
taught his son that through hard work and
dedication you can accomplish the
impossible. Stay true, speak soft, ignore
anything negative and accept people are
different and most of all stay humble.
