Ricardo L. Alaniz, age 75, gained his angel wings on September 26, 2022. The Good Lord brought Ricardo into our lives on April 18, 1947. He was born in Kingsville, TX to Alejandro Alaniz and Irene Longoria Hernandez. Ricardo is preceded in Eternal Life by his parents Alejandro Alaniz and Irene Longoria Hernandez, his loving son Richard (Junior) Alaniz, and siblings Alejandro Alaniz, Maria Alaniz, and Johnny Alaniz. Ricardo’s Legacy will be carried on by his loyal wife of 51years, Alicia Alaniz, and three daughters Martha Gonzalez, Irene Guevara (Jose), Janie Guevara (Chepo), 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and his siblings Romana Martinez (Robert), and Concepcion Perales (David). Ricardo worked for many years at Control Specialties Values. He was a well-established contractor and loved creating woodwork for his family. He remains as our greatest gift to our family; he will always have a piece of our hearts and the time will come when our family will be reunited. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We will remember all the times he made us laugh and cherish those moments. We are saddened, but know he is not in pain and that the gates to heaven have opened immediately and he has been received by our savior.
