Mr. Raymond Leroy Pheris Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Raymond Leroy Pheris Jr, 64, passed away on January 2, 2019 in Baytown, Texas. He is reunited in heaven with Sharon, his beloved wife of 44 years.
Raymond is survived by his sons, Raymond III and Eric Pheris; daughter Brandie Pheris; grandchildren Emma and Abigail Pheris; sister Sharon Roberts; sister and brother-in-law Patti and Gary Carico, sister Betty Varvel, sister Tammy Rokos-Harrison, and brother Carl Rokos; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
Raymond was born on May 29, 1954 in Champaign, Illinois to Raymond Pheris Sr. and Betty Shepherd. He graduated from Sam Rayburn High School and went on to have a successful 32-year career in the manufacturing industry.
Raymond was a devoted husband, father, and Poppa. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf, watching sports, and spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, who were the light of his life. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, friends, and all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main St., Pearland, TX on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 2 pm.
