Raymond Falcon Cipriano
Raymond Falcon Cipriano, known affectionally as Ray, 92, of Pearland Texas, went to be with Jesus on January 20, 2024. He was residing at Richard A Anderson Texas State Veterans Home in Houston, Texas.
Ray was born on July 23, 1931 in Corpus Christi Texas. His loving personality was larger than life, evident in the broad smile he shared with everyone he met. Ray was a Korean war veteran. He belonged to the Texas Lone Star Korea Warrior and the American Legion. Ray was a founding member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pearland and actively served there since its founding in 1985.
Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed barbequing and grilling to feed his family and friends. He even smoked twelve briskets for the grand opening celebration of Calvary Baptist Church. He got his degree at the University of Houston and was an insurance sales manager for thirty years.
Ray’s family was his greatest source of pride and joy. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Amy L Cipriano of Pearland Tx, son Marshall Dickens and wife Jacque of Alvin Tx, daughter Debby and husband Steve Srubar of Pearland Tx, Mary Berryman of Manvel Tx who was like a daughter to him, and sister Gloria Adair of Dallas Tx.
In addition to his immediate family, Ray leaves behind nine precious grandchildren, Elizabeth Burton and husband Ryan, Cody Deaton and wife Alyss, Brian Srubar, Caleb Ray Dickens, Aaron Berryman, Benjamin Berryman, James Smith and wife Ericka, Ginger Smith, Adrienne Ponder and husband Tyler, and two great grandchildren, Miles Ryan Burton, and Harper Rae Burton, a niece, Donna Rae Adair, and four nephews, Michael Adair, Antonio Cipriano and wife Barbara, Gabriel Cipriano and wife Sylvia, and Gilbert Cipriano.
Ray was preceded in death by his father Raymond Coronado Cipriano, mother Angelita Falcon Cipriano, and brother Reynaldo Falcon Cipriano.
