Raquel Hernandez's Obituary
Raquel Hernandez passed away on August 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy filled with love, joy, and unwavering faith that will forever be cherished in our hearts. As a devoted child of God, she now rests peacefully in His kingdom. Raquel embodied unconditional love, always prioritizing the needs of her children and those around her. Her strength as a steadfast defender of her family shone through her kind words and actions, inspiring warmth and love in return. Her deep faith served as a guiding light throughout her life as a dedicated member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
As Chief Operating Officer at Triofab, Raquel was not only a leader but also a compassionate mentor, earning the respect of everyone fortunate enough to work with her. She faced every challenge with remarkable intelligence and courage, demonstrating her true character.
Raquel is preceded in death by her father, Theodore "Ted" Vargas; her brother, Theodore "Ted" Vargas III; and her beloved aunt, Julia Cantu. She is survived by her loving husband, Gerardo Hernandez; her cherished children: Shannon Phillips and his wife, Alexis, along with her children Bryson Reed and Aeliana Ward; Cristian Casas; and Jeanette Hernandez. Raquel’s warmth is fondly remembered by her siblings: Vicky Harris (Daniel), Rudolph Vargas (Judi) and his son, Lil Rudy; and Erica Hernandez (Adan), as well as her devoted mother, Esther Vargas.
The love, strength, and kindness Raquel shared have touched countless lives and will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her. Raquel would want us to remember her not with sadness, but with the joy and laughter shared throughout the years.
