Due to the flood, Southpark Funeral Home visitation services will be held at Freedom Fellowship, 1201 N. Main St. (Hwy 35), Pearland, Texas. Visitation only will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017.
Radford Hunter Mansfield, 26, of Pearland, Texas, was born February 5, 1991, in Clear Lake, Texas, to Gary and Melanie Mansfield. Raised in Pearland, he enjoyed motocross and had competed since he was 10 years old. Radford loved animals and was always bringing a new pet home. He loved working, hunting, and fishing with his dad, being outdoors, binge-watching movies with his mom, listening to music, cooking with his family, and spending hours playing video games with his sister. Radford was adventurous, outgoing, and never afraid to be the first to try anything new that was wild or crazy. At age 20 he started working on communication towers; he then joined IBEW Local 66 and worked for several different electrical contractors.
Radford had the most beautiful smile and mischievous, green eyes that melted the hearts of all those around him; he will always be remembered for his kind, loving, wild personality.
Radford was preceded in death by his grandparents Radford “Tom” and Irene Mansfield ; Tom Gallagher.
Radford is survived by his parents, Gary and Melanie Mansfield; sister, Coree Mansfield; brother, Alan Mansfield-Nunez, and husband, Jose; grandparents, Dale Gallagher; Joe and Judy Frazier; aunts and uncles, Janet and Tommy Mansfield; Cynthia and Chad Frazier; Katy and Kerry Frazier; Kristie and Eddie Frazier; Arianne and Keith Frazier; and Brian Frazier, in addition to more family, including many cousins, dear friends, and “Partners in Crime.”
