Rachel L. White's Obituary
Rachel L. White was born to the union of Willie, Jr. and
Herman White on January 5, 1936. She was the
youngest of the girls in a family of eight (four sisters
and 3 brothers). Rachel graduated high school from
DeSota Parish Training School. She attended Nursing
School in Louisiana and practiced nursing at Texas
Children’s Hospital. She met Thomas Ivey who was
the love of her life and married on December 27, 1955,
who proceeded her in death. To this union one child
was born, Cynthia Renee Ivey. Rachel dedicated her
life to Jehovah on June 17, 1976. She enjoyed teaching
the bible to others. Rachel was a very hard worker,
and a very dedicated Mother/grandmother and
worshipper of her creator, Jehovah God. Rachel had
two grandchildren Nicole and Bianca (deceased).
Rachel has six great grandchildren Anthony, Morgan,
Aaden, Tristen, Trinitee and Trence, Jr. and a very
special niece, Peggy White. Rachel was also proceeded
in death by her parents Willie, Jr.,Herman White. Inez
Townsend (deceased); Willie Belle White (deceased);
James C. White (deceased); Muriel McGee (deceased);
Rudolph White, Sr. (deceased); Ralph White
(deceased). She leaves to mourn her sister Pauline, a
host of nieces and nephews.
