Mrs. Rachael Jeanise Clawson's Obituary
Rachael Jeanise (Oshman) Clawson passed away on April 20, 2010. She was born August 28, 1973, to Carla (Morton) and Raymond Oshman of Sugar Land. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Scott Clawson of Pearland and her two daughters, Michele and Emily, who were truly her life. Also surviving her are her brother, Michael Oshman of Sargent, TX, and his two children, Nicolas and Renna, as well as her grandmother, Clara Morton of Shenandoah; aunts, Carolyn Morton (Shenandoah), Yvonne Sturm and her husband, Jack(Port Angeles, WA), and her uncle, Buddy Morton and his wife, Glenda, of Hattiesburg, MS. Also mourning her loss are Scott's parents, Linda and David Clawson, his brother, Steven Clawson and wife, Kim, and children, Michael and Cameron, all of Pearland, TX.
Rachael is survived by many loving cousins, great aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Grady Morton, of Bowie, TX, and her grandparents, Gertrude and Jack Oshman, of Wharton, TX. Also deceased are her aunts, Linda Morton Rugeley (Wharton), Maxine Gaines (Abilene), Joy Ann Hendrix (Fort Worth), Joyce Smith (Gillete, Wyoming), and uncle, Bobby Morton (Tyler).
The family is grieving, but remembering the happy times they had when Rachael rode and competed in horse shows with her outstanding Five-Gaited Pleasure American Saddlebred, Vanity's Butterfly. They were a beautiful pair together and won many awards, including the prestigious Pin Oak Charity Horse Show. There will be a visitation with family from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 12:00 noon. Also, burial will be at the same location.
