Primitivo Sabedra Padilla, Jr., 83, born February 28, 1929 in Victoria, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Regina Coelia, #4577. He was preceded in death by his wife, Petra Saenz Padilla, his parents, Primitivo Padilla and Guadalupe Sabedra, sisters, Margarite Martinez and Catalina Garcia, and brothers, Raymond Padilla and Guadalupe Padilla. He is survived by his children, Teresa P. Sarabia and husband, Carlos, Anna P. Garza and husband, Raymond, David S. Padilla and wife, Maria Teresa; grandchildren, Joseph, Victoria, Elizabeth, Joanna, Summer, Sophia, Adam, Isabella, and Jessica; numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends. The family wishes to give Maribel Rangel, Mr. Padilla's caregiver of four years, many thanks for the care and compassion she showed him every day. Visitation will be from 7:00 until 9:00 Monday evening, with rosary service at 7:30 pm at the Catholic Community of St. Luke the Evangelist, 11011 Hall Road, Houston, TX 77089. The Mass of the Ressurrection will be said at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 also at the church with Rev. Desmond Daniels, Celebrant. The rite of committal will follow at the South Park Resurrection Cemetery in Pearland.
