Mr. Preston Howard Allen's Obituary
Preston Howard Allen, 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Preston was born October 28, 1922 in Magee, MS, where we would meet his devoted wife of many years, Dorothy Ryan. He proudly served his country during World War II and the Korean War, and retired from the United States Airforce as a Colonel. He obtained an Electrical Engineering Degree from Oklahoma State University, and would go on to work for many years as an engineer for NASA.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Jean Ryan Allen, his children, Terry Allen and Donna Kay Middlekauf, grandchildren Mandy Allen and Lisa Dews, and great-grandchildren, Kaylea Peacock and Tyler Dews. He was a devoted friend, son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and husband, and will be greatly missed by both family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 12:30 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home. Visitation will start at 10:00 AM on the same day.
