Mr. Prabhakar Swarup's Obituary
Mr. Prabhakar Swarup began his journey of life on January 1, 1929. He was third oldest of eight children, but willingly and easily dedicated himself to taking on the role of the eldest. To him, no challenge was impossible. Mr. Swarup had a zest for life! He was always sharply dressed for the occasion, was a foodie, and enjoyed having the latest technologies. He was passionate about education and instilled these values in his sons and grandchildren. Graduating at the top of the class from IIT Roorkee, he served as Chief Engineer of Delhi. After retirement, he migrated to the United States to be closer to his sons and family. For him retirement only meant a new chapter. He chose to change careers and continue his education be become a respiratory therapist technician. His enthusiasm for education earned him “best student for 11 out of his 12 months. Prabhakar lived an accomplished and fulfilling life leaving his family and friends with many fond memories. He will truly be missed.
