Mr. Phillip Jason Callier's Obituary
Phillip Jason Callier, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Houston. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Wednesday, September 24, 1947 to Emma and Paul Callier. He graduated from Pasadena High School in 1966 and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2000. Phil was the owner of Callier Auto Supply with locations in Pasadena, Kingsland and Marble Falls from 1978 until 2000. Most recently he worked for MetLife as a Financial Representative. He loved helping people with financial planning. He was an avid hunter and sports fan. Phil was cheerful and upbeat and could always get a smile from anyone. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mary McMahon Callier; stepson, Casey Putnam; brother, Greg Callier and his wife Monica and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday evening, June 11, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main Street in Pearland, TX 77581. The funeral service will be held on Friday morning at 10:00am in the Chapel of SouthPark Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at SouthPark Cemetery.
