Philip Neal Ellis' Obituary
Philip Ellis was born August 5, 1939 in Huntsville, Texas. He passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024 at the age of 84.
Philip is survived by his children Cindy Jo (Randy Martines), Chester (Loretta Ward), Kenneth (Jamie Ward), Donnie Ellis and girlfriend Amie and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Philip is preceded in death by his wife Patty Ellis, parents Milburn and Millie Sims Ellis, brothers Bill, Buddy, MW, Aubrey, Fred, Don Ellis; sisters Elsie Merel Krell, Lilly Mae Nelson and son Mike Ward.
Philip was proud to serve his country in the US Army where he qualified as a sharpshooter and was part of the K9 squad. Philip liked hunting and fishing and watching his brother Fred and nephew Ricky race stock cars. Philip was a master plumber and one of the best backhoe operators around and knew the underground piping business like no other. Philip ended his career with Haddock Construction. He spent his las 5 years with friend and former wife Jouyce Ellis.
