Peggy Lee Nabors, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with her God on Christmas Day, Dec. 25th, 2020. She was born on March 17th, 1946 in Houston, Texas to Carroll Wesley Tabb and Aileen Duncan Tabb. She is preceded in death by he Read Obituary
Peggy was a role model in courage and determination -- she stood up for the rights and opportunities of school employees. Through her courage many found that they too could stand up for the opportunities for children and students. Children, schools and employees will miss her voice, but she trained and guided many who will follow in her steps. Peggy was also a loving mother and a faithful member of her church. I will never forget her friendship and will miss her.
Peggy was always there to help when we had school problems with our granddaughters schools. She would always have a solution or told us who we needed to talk to. Peggy was also a great friend. I will miss the hugs my granddaughters would give her. You will be greatly missed my friend.
When I started going to Pastor’s Bible Class, Peggy was always welcoming me & even asked me to join the group for lunch.
I was in the Highland Valley Chancel Choir with Peggy for 25 years. We also attended a church lunch group after we retired. She was always warm and open as a friend. I enjoyed talking with her because she was knowledgeable about so many topics. Our church won't be the same without Peggy. God called her home on Christmas Day to show us how much he loved her, I think! Prayers for her family and friends to be comforted in their loss.

We were Blessed to have met and known Peggy from the beginning of my wife's and mine relationship. Peggy was always generous with her time and insights into life and being present with family members. We will always treasure our time with Peggy and know her soul is restful with God. Peggy was a lovely, sweet friend since our elementary school days at Bonner. We were in Brownies and Rainbow Girls together as well. She always had an engaging smile and a quick wit. We lost touch with one another after high school, but ran into each other one year in Little Rock at an ACLU banquet with my late husband Jim. So grateful we got to visit when she came to my current home to Hot Springs a year or so ago while our friends Carla, Geoffrey and Sharon were visiting from Texas. Just the best time! Ms Nabors was one of my favorite teachers. She was tough but it was because she cared and expected you to do your best. I truly believe that my better than average geography skills can be attributed to her. Peace be with the family.
Lifting up the family in prayer. Peggy was a teacher who could relate to and guide students beyond the classroom. Harrison Junior High students were fortunate to attend during her time in Harrison. I was blessed by her during my jr. high years.
